Who buys company records for AI, and what they publish
Updated
The organisations asking for company records describe what they take in their own words, and a few of them say they take records from companies that are closing.
Records from closing companies
SimpleClosure's Asset Hub takes the workspace data of companies that are shutting down, naming communications, documents, designs, tickets and workflows. The figures buyers publish
micro1 says payments typically range from $150K to over $2M, for established companies with 30 or more full-time staff, and Polyshares that its deals typically land between $100K and $2M paid to the company. These are the buyers' own published ranges, not a price for any one archive.

The records they name
Grepped asks for messages, docs, tickets, code and records from a team's tools, aitrainer.work's guide lists SOPs, playbooks and knowledge bases, and Centific wants records showing how employees make decisions and handle exceptions.
